Advanced Sustainable AI Management HEI Curricula (ASAM-C)

ASAM-C (project no. 101234947) is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project aimed at transforming how universities prepare students for the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence. As AI technologies grow in scale and influence, they bring forward new challenges: high energy consumption, ethical concerns, algorithmic biases, resource-intensive infrastructures, and complex governance requirements.

The project addresses these challenges by creating the first comprehensive Master’s-level curriculum in AI Sustainability Management, equipping future professionals to ensure that AI systems are:

Ethically designed

Energy- and resource-efficient

Environmentally and socially responsible

Aligned with ESG and global compliance frameworks

ASAM-C brings together European and Sub-Saharan African universities to co-create innovative academic programs, strengthen institutional capacity, and foster international research collaboration.
