Advanced Sustainable AI Management HEI Curricula (ASAM-C)
The ASAM-C project brings together a diverse consortium of universities, training organisations, and NGOs from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Each partner contributes unique expertise to co-create innovative curricula, strengthen institutional capacities, and promote sustainable AI education.
Together, the consortium builds a strong bridge connecting European academic excellence with African innovation and development needs.
University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy)
The University of Bari Aldo Moro leads the overall coordination of ASAM-C, ensuring high-quality implementation, academic excellence, and scientific integrity. With strong experience in AI, sustainability research, and curriculum development, the university guides the design of the ASAM-C Master’s programme and supports capacity-building activities across partner institutions.
Lodz University of Technology (Poland)
A leading technical university in Central Europe, Lodz University of Technology brings advanced expertise in AI, digital systems, and engineering education. The university contributes to curriculum development, staff training, research alignment, and quality assurance throughout the project.
TIA Formazione Internazionale Associazione APS (Italy)
TIA Formazione plays a key role in supporting training, capacity building, and pedagogical innovation. With extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects, TIA supports learning design, upskilling of academic staff, and dissemination activities targeting both institutional and public audiences.
Mine Vaganti NGO (Italy)
Mine Vaganti NGO contributes expertise in sustainability education, participatory learning, and digital innovation. MVNGO supports the development of training materials, inclusion-oriented educational methodologies, and wide-reaching dissemination strategies for ASAM-C.
Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) (Tanzania)
MUCE plays a central role as one of the Sub-Saharan Higher Education Institutions adopting and implementing the ASAM-C curriculum. The university leads local coordination, facilitates staff and student engagement, and supports the establishment of ASAM-C laboratories.
Jordan University College (JUCO) (Tanzania)
JUCO contributes to the development of the e-learning platform, supports curriculum implementation, and strengthens local academic and technical capacity. The institution plays an essential role in piloting ASAM-C’s digital learning environment.

As one of Nigeria’s leading technical institutions, Yaba College of Technology brings strong applied science and engineering expertise. The college supports curriculum deployment, training activities, and the creation of practice-oriented learning environments for students.
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (Nigeria)
Nasarawa State University plays a fundamental role in local knowledge transfer, student outreach, and sustainability. The institution leads internal coordination within Nigeria, supports the academic piloting of the programme, and collaborates in establishing ASAM-C labs and training activities.
